How the Gasp Score works

Every drama gets a score out of 10. Half comes from our editors, half from Gaspers who rated it on this site.

What editors score

• Hook: do the first three episodes make you need episode four?
• Twist density: how often something genuinely surprising happens.
• Ending payoff: whether the last episodes deliver on the setup.
• Value for money: what it costs to finish compared with how good it is.

How we check prices

We count every locked episode in the US App Store version of the app and multiply by the coin price of the smallest coin pack. We compare that with the cheapest weekly pass. Every drama page shows the date we last checked.

What we never do

Apps cannot pay for a higher score. Commissions do not change rankings. We never host full episodes.
